Roy Quiddington

Roy joined The Stroke Association as Director of Finance and Resources in September 2009, and is responsible for the internal departments of Finance, IT, HR, Facilities and Administration, Corporate Governance, Business Support, and Projects.

After completing his degree, Roy worked for a large international accountancy firm, and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1990. 

Roy held senior positions in the leisure and travel industry for sixteen years (tour operations and cruises), and was more recently Director of a publishing group, prior to joining The Stroke Association.

His key aim in improving efficiencies in the internal departments, is to drive down the percentage of the Association’s income that is spent on management and administration in order to maximise the amount that gets spent on charitable activities.
