Campaigns and Policy
We campaign to improve the lives of all touched by stroke
Living with stroke can be lonely for stroke survivors and their families. Too many people still don’t understand stroke and its impacts. Trying to get back to the best possible quality of life after a stroke can feel like a real struggle.
Campaigns and Policy is a small team at Stroke Association with a LOUD voice. We need your help to shout even louder for stroke, at a national and local level, across the UK. We focus on eight key policy areas. These are big areas or themes that affect stroke survivors, those at risk of stroke and those working in stroke.
We also run a number of campaigns on issues as diverse as health, benefits and prevention. Some of these we run. Others are about us working in partnership with other charities. See the full list of our campaigns below.
By bringing together people at risk of stroke, stroke survivors, their families and friends as well as those working in stroke services, we can make an even bigger noise. This is the stroke community and together we can achieve great things. Join the stroke community today
