"Nobody told me..."
Information plays a crucial role in stroke treatment and care, as well as patients’ recovery and long-term wellbeing. But many stroke survivors leave hospital without adequate information. This campaign called for everyone to get the information that they need before being discharged.

Getting Back to Work After Stroke
The perception remains amongst the public, policy makers and some health professionals that only older people have strokes. However, research shows that around a quarter of the estimated 110,000 strokes occurring in England each year actually happen to people aged under 65. We launched a campaign in 2006 about the particular issues for stroke survivors to get back to work. Please download the report below.
