Nobody told me... Get involved

We will be writing to every hospital, Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Local Health Board (LHB) in England and Wales about the "Nobody told me..." campaign. But we need your help to put pressure on these organisations to implement the changes that will improve all stroke patient's recovery.

Postcard and letter
We have produced a postcard that we can send to you. You will then be able to sign it and send it to either your local PCT, Local Health Board or hospital. If you would like us to send you the postcard then either join our Campaigners Network or send an email with your postal address to the campaigns team or call us on 020 7566 1510.

Alternatively, you can download the model letter below and send it to your PCT, LHB or local hospital. You can find out who your local PCT are by visiting the NHS website or by calling NHS direct on 0845 46 47. You can also find the address of your local hospital on the NHS website or by phoning NHS direct. If you live in Wales and would like to know the address of your Local Health Board please go to the NHS Wales website

Poster
Whilst we are able to help stroke survivors on our helpline, we feel that hospitals should be providing this information as a right when stroke patients are discharged. We have produced a poster that we hope will go on display in every hospital that treats stroke patients, and act as a reminder to the patients, their carers and even staff about the information that patients should be given. You can download the poster from the link below or order them from us, free of charge, at either A3 or A4 by calling 01604 623938. If you do order the poster please try and take it to your local hospital and ask them to put it up.
