Health Secretary launches the National Stroke Strategy for England
The Government’s long awaited National Stroke Strategy for England was launched at a press conference on Wednesday 5 December 2007. Speaking ahead of his keynote address at the UK Stroke Forum Conference in Harrogate, Health Secretary Alan Johnson said: ‘This is a bold vision for the delivery of world-class stroke services, from prevention right through to life-long support.’
