BBC Radio 4 Appeal
The Stroke Association is delighted to be the beneficiary of BBC Radio 4’s charity appeal which was broadcast on 17 August.
The appeal is presented by Prunella Scales who is a long-term ambassador of The Stroke Association. 'I was delighted to help The Stroke Association with their appeal and hope that it will raise vital funds along with increasing awareness of the condition.'
Every five minutes someone in the UK has a stroke and it is hoped that the appeal will reach out to people across the country and let them know that The Stroke Association is there to help all those affected by stroke along with their families and carers.
