Spring Appeal 2010

Please support our voluntary income fund that provides a programme of activities for stroke survivors.

For so many stroke survivors, the world can seem an intimidating place, especially if they have communication difficulties. Every day tasks such as ordering a drink or catching the bus can be a challenge for those who struggle with speech. Difficulty communicating can lead to many stroke survivors feeling embarrassed and isolated.

The Stroke Association’s voluntary income fund pays for activities to help stroke survivors rebuild their confidence. A kind contribution in support of this fund will help give more service users across the UK the opportunity to try new activities with the support and guidance of our experienced group co-ordinators.

It is absolutely essential that The Stroke Association continues to pay for these activities through the voluntary income fund which is available to thousands of service users.

For this to happen The Stroke Association needs your support.
