Volunteering

Our UK services rely on the help of volunteers to continue operating. Your company can play a part in this by taking part in a volunteering challenge.

Company Challenges

Getting a group of your employees together to make-over a stroke survivor’s house or garden makes a real difference to their lives. Or you could organise a day trip and offer a real opportunity for people to see how there really is life after stroke and that people are there to support them every step of the way on their road to recovery.

Ongoing volunteering

Perhaps you would like to get your employees involved in continuing volunteering, such as being a conversation partner for a stroke survivors, or helping out at one of our Life After Stroke Services. These are excellent ways to further employees’ continuing development.

Pro-bono

The skill set of employees at your organisation could provide help to the Stroke Association in another way. For example if you’re a technology company you may be able to provide advice to stroke survivors or even to The Stroke Association itself. Or maybe legal advice from law firms, consultancy work from marketing companies. Whatever your business there’s a way in which you can help.
