Fundraiser of the Month - July 2011
On a beautifully sunny Saturday 2 July, thousands of participants took part in South England's biggest open water swimming event and it was a fantastic day enjoyed by all!
The Stroke Association had a brilliant team of swimmers who made us so proud by completing this epic one mile challenge on our behalf. We are so grateful for your support and it was an honour to see and cheer so many of you on the big day.
There was a fantastic atmosphere at the event and The British Gas Great Swim team did an amazing job of looking after all participants both in and out of the water.
