This is a limited edition card. It was designed by Sylvia Smith who had a stroke two years ago, at the age of 72. As a result of her stroke Sylvia suffered left-sided paralysis and spent six weeks in hospital.
Since her stroke Sylvia has made steady progress back to recovery with the help and encouragement of her husband, family and The Stroke Association. She has learnt to walk again and regained her ability to paint, which has been no easy task due to the fact that she is left-handed. Sylvia has now returned to her art class, which has helped her regain her interest in life. Sylvia is delighted to see her card, Oh Come All Ye Faithful, in The Stroke Association's 2008 Christmas range.
