MRC Recruitment Charity Golf Classic - Celebrity Challenge

Teams of three people are invited to join a celebrity guest and take on the challenge of the 18 hole Nicklaus course at the De Vere Carden Park Hotel near Chester in Cheshire.

Throughout the day participants will have the chance to win a luxury holiday in Florida in our nearest the pin competition, as well as the opportunity to take part in our putting competition and Chairman’s Drive In.

The day will then be rounded off in style with a Gala Evening three-course dinner and star-studded presentation ceremony. Leading comedians and musicians will provide a glittering conclusion to the day’s festivities.

Whether you want to use the event to reward your team or entertain your clients, you are sure to have a great day and will also be raising funds to provide vital support for people affected by stroke.

Celebrities such as Willie Thorne, Kevin Whately, Jasper Carrott and Tony Christie have been invited to attend. Tickets are available at just £450 for a team of three, but spaces are strictly limited.

Make a night of it and invite your partner to join you for the evening event. Additional tickets to the Gala Evening are available for just £45 each, with all the profits going to The Stroke Association.

The Social Golfer
The Social Golfer is the travel and golfing journal of Ian Halliwell. Prior to his stroke in December 2006, at the age of just 48, Halliwell, an avid golfer, had enjoyed many trips to the Costas, Tenerife, Tunisia and South Africa. Playing off eight, he still dreamt of retiring and trying for his card on the Seniors Tour.

Taking advice from golf professional Bernard Hunt, Halliwell aspired to become 'the best social golfer on the planet', playing on every continent, at the best courses in the best cities and in the best amateur competitions.
