Congratulations to all our wonderful runners who took part in the 2007 real,- Berlin Marathon!

If you would like to help us beat the third biggest killer in the UK and provide help to stroke survivors then why not join The Stroke Association team for the real,- Berlin Marathon 2008?

This event is becoming more and more popular every year. If you are a first time runner looking for a great challenge, or a marathon veteran in pursuit of your personal best, why not take part in one of Europe’s fastest marathon courses. The flat, fast paced real,- Berlin Marathon is a must for all runners!

The course runs through the historic centre of the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of Berlin, taking you past famous landmarks such as the Reichstag and the Berliner Dom. The Brandenburg Gate also provides you with a memorable finish, watched by the million spectators who line the course and add to the fantastic atmosphere.

Places in this event are strictly limited so don’t miss your chance to get involved.

We are not tied in with any tour operators, so you are free to make your own arrangements. This gives you the flexibility to make plans that suit you, so that your marathon and Berlin experience is exactly how you want it to be.

If you have managed to secure your own place in the race we would also love you to join our team. Just send us a quick email with your details and you’re in!

We will support you every step of the way, to give you the best marathon experience possible:

  • expert 18-week training plan
  • dedicated web page with the opportunity to chat to fellow stroke runners
  • a free running vest
  • a fundraising pack full of advice and tips
  • unlimited support from our dedicated Marathon Team.
