Winchester Christmas Walk

6/12/2009
Venue: Winchester, Hampshire
Type: Special Event
Cathedral in winter

Enjoy the delights of Winchester at Christmas and raise money for The Stroke Association.

The historic city of Winchester makes the ideal destination for a Christmas walk. So why not get your walking shoes on and join us.

Our stunning 7 mile route takes you along the lovely Itchen valley to Twyford, returning via St Catherine’s Hill with fantastic views over the city.

The 3.5 mile route is an equally spectacular walk, incorporating some of Winchester’s best sights. Both walks start and finish at Winchester’s Cathedral Refectory.

Whichever route you choose, you will be welcomed on your return with warming mulled wine and mince pies. Then, why not make a visit to Winchester’s famous Christmas market just a short stroll away.

To enter please complete our registration form (62 kb) [doc] and return it to us with a £10 entry fee.

Once you have registered we will supply a fundraising pack to help you with your sponsorship. Money raised will provide vital support for stroke survivors and their families, as well as research into stroke prevention and treatment.

Both walks will set off between 9.30 and 10am.
