C2C raises £15k for The Stroke Association!

The Stroke Association held its first ever Castle 2 Castle Cycling Challenge on Sunday 11 October. Even though the weather was changeable, a bit wet at times and windy across the old Severn Bridge, it was a great success with 170 riders braving the elements.
Some rode the 22 mile route from Chepstow Castle to Berkeley Castle, while the majority cycled the 44 mile round trip from Berkley Castle to Chepstow Castle and return.
More than £15,000 was raised on the day. Look out for the date of the next one in 2010, which is likely to be around the same time next year.
A big thank you to all our participants, volunteers, staff and supporters.
