Great North Run 2009 runners


This year was the biggest turn out ever for The Stroke Association with a total of 393 runners supporting us.

In glorious sunshine the runners performed magnificently and the day was a huge success with over 200 people visiting our marquee for well earned refreshments and a leg massage.

We believe when all the monies are in we shall have raised around £150,000 which is a magnificent sum and the most we have ever raised from the Great North Run.
