The Stroke Association's latest abseil rocks Liverpool

30 July 2009

On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July 2009 we were joined by 600 intrepid abseiling fundraisers.

The Royal Liver Building were incredibly generous and allowed The Stroke Association to use their building for free.

This is the last time that The Royal Liver Building will ever be open to the general public to abseil so it was a momentous occasion.

We were joined by the Lord Mayor of Liverpool who announced our balloon launch to celebrate all those recovering from stroke and to remember all those who have died from a stroke.
