Sporting Heroes Abseil raises over £107,000

The Sporting Heroes Abseil held at Twickenham Rugby Stadium this weekend was a huge success.
We were joined by over 1500 participants, families and friends who enjoyed the spring weather whilst abseilling 140ft to raise funds for The Stroke Association. We were also joined by the caped crusaders, three lions, grizzly gorillas and tututastic ballerinas.
The atmosphere was electric as all participants successfully completed their challenge in true sporting hero style.
Thank you to everybody who joined us on the day. It was great fun meeting you all and sharing stories and making new friends.
Big thanks go to UK Bungee Club, All the staff at Twickenham Stadium, our Events Team, our amazing volunteers, photographer, First Aid Team and, last but not least, thanks again to everyone who faced their fears and raised funds for us.
