This is a starting point to develop local networking and share good practice. There is a questionnaire on the website to canvass your views on what you would like to see it include.

East of England Stroke Forum Annual Conference
19 March 2009 - Advance Notice

The 2009 East of England Stroke Forum Annual Conference will be held on Thursday 19 March 2009 at Chilford Hall Vineyard, Linton, Cambridge, CB21 4LE. The conference will continue to develop local networking and sharing of good practice. In response to feedback from the 2008 conference, as well as plenary sessions featuring keynote speakers, the 2009 conference will feature more and longer workshops to cover a wider range of current issues through the whole stroke pathway.

Please make a note of this date in your diary now and cascade to all colleagues in your network who will be interested in attending, particularly GPs, colleagues in health management and social care.

Further information will follow when the programme is finalised; you will then be able to complete your registration for the conference on the forum website http://www.eastofenglandstrokeforum.org.uk/

The organising committee would like to hear from anyone interested in contributing to the conference organisation, particularly therapists, GPs and commissioners as well as anyone from Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire, which is currently not well represented. Please email info@eastofenglandstrokeforum.org.uk or call Helen Powell on 01223 274380 to discuss your interest.
