Volunteer Conference and Open Afternoon

A Volunteer Conference has been arranged for volunteers with The Stroke Association in the East of England and London areas for Wednesday 17 September 2008.  It will be held at The Centre at St Paul's, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1JP from 10am to 4pm.  A full and interesting programme of activities, workshops and entertainment has been arranged to include workshops from our Caring for People Affected by Stroke course, to cover Stroke, Psychological Effects and Communication needs, plus alternative workshops.  The day should prove to be very informative, thought provoking and fun.  For more details please contact Lucie Riches

Would you like to know more about volunteering with The Stroke Association?  During the conference we are holding an open afternoon from 2.30 - 4pm at The Centre at St Pauls, Hills Road, Cambridge CB2 1JP.  Why not come along to meet with staff and volunteers from your area?  Tea and coffee will  be available and entertainment from the rock and roll band The Houndogs.
