North West
Welcome to the North West section of the website.
Our region covers Cheshire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Merseyside and also the Isle of Man.
In the North West the incidence, prevalence and mortality of stroke is amongst the highest in the country. The North West office of The Stroke Association is therefore working in partnership with the Department of Health and local NHS services to both raise awareness of and combat the effects of stroke.
