South West
The South West region covers Gloucestershire, Somerset, Devon, Wiltshire, Dorset, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.
The Region extends 250 miles East to West and 120 miles North to South. It takes in the cities of Bristol, Exeter, Swindon, Plymouth and Truro and the vast expanses of Dartmoor, Exmoor and Salisbury Plain. It also has a coastline of approximately 750 miles.
These pages aim to provide information and advice, and keep you up to date with everything that's going on in the South West region such as The Stroke Association's services, news, fundraising events, stroke prevention activities and awareness campaigns.
Volunteers
Our Fundraising team are looking to recruit volunteers to help us raise funds and increase awareness of the work of The Stroke Association. For further information please contact the Regional Fundraising Department.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with awareness events and to give talks to organisations such as Rotary International and the Women's Institute. Full training will be provided. For more information please contact Perry French, our Regional Information Officer, on 01392 447364.
There are opportunities for volunteer befrienders and drivers to support stroke survivors across Wiltshire socially, in the community and in activities of their choice.
