Fantastic developments in stroke services for Yorkshire and The Humber region
Many of the local authorities within our region have now commissioned Family and Carer Support Services from us to provide support and advice for stroke survivors and their families.
New Service - Community Integration Service
Our Community Integration Service is designed to provide opportunities for stroke survivors to identify and pursue realistic social and occupational opportunities within their own community. This service is currently available in Wakefield and Rotherham.
Find out more about all the services we have in the region on the Yorkshire and The Humber regional centre page.
Carers Drop-in North Yorkshire
We now have a drop-in service for carers and stroke survivors in North Yorkshire. The group meets on a monthly basis in Harrogate and offers a chance for respite, advice and support. For further information please contact Jenny Jones on 01423 540866 or email Jenny Jones.
