Speechmatters
Speechmatters services are facilitated by a team of Speech and Language Therapists and Speech and Language Therapy Assistants and aims to develop communication skills of people living with aphasia, their carers and families.
Speechmatters operates 13 weekly Conversation Groups that provide an opportunity for people living with aphasia to meet and practice their communication skills, participate in a range of projects and take part in learning, social and recreational activities.
The Conversation Groups are held across Northern Ireland. To find out where your nearest Conversation Group is visit The Stroke Association NI website.
We offer an open referral service for the Conversation Groups, so please contact The Stroke Association Northern Ireland on 028 9050 8020 if you or someone you know has aphasia.
