Stroke Research Priorities Setting project
An exciting project which has given stroke survivors, carers and health professionals an equal voice in identifying priorities for future stroke research has recently been completed. This project appears to have ‘gone the extra mile’ to ensure involvement of stroke survivors and carers, regardless of stroke impairments or geographical location.
Under the management of the James Lind Alliance (an alliance
including The Stroke Association in Scotland), stroke survivors, carers
and health professionals were asked what their top research priorities
would be for life after stroke.
