Pompey Strokes
Pompey Strokes is a website that has been developed by Consultant Nurse in Stroke Care Dr Jane Williams, with funds donated from the Lord Mayor of Portsmouth's appeal 2005/6 and in partnership with Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. The website was developed in response to requests from stroke survivors and their families, in the Portsmouth area, for local information.
The interactive site aims to attract people from all walks of life, both members of the public and professionals, to share their knowledge and experience. It will also signpost people to local services and resources.
The website hopes to encourage stroke survivors and their families to get in touch with each other and share their knowledge and experiences. This will develop as more people sign up and contribute to the site.
