UK Stroke Club Conference 2010

The UK Stroke Club Conference is an opportunity for stroke club representatives to come together to share and celebrate the successes and challenges of running a stroke support group.
The 2010 event will welcome speakers on the latest research and the Finnish Stroke and Dsyphasia Association.
Workshops will be run on a broad range of subjects covering different elements of running a support group.
New for 2010 will be the Stroke Club Exchange, a unique exhibition of Stroke Club achievements from the last 12 months.

UK Stroke Club Conference 2009
The 2009 event welcomed a record number of delegates, with 80 groups represented.
Delegates took part in workshops as diverse as sight loss, respite, pain management, art, gardening, outings, website design and reminiscence.
The conference welcomed speakers on the psychological effects of stroke, as well as from the Slovenian Stroke Organisation and Community Transport Association.
