Stroke Club Consultation Group
Over the last few years, The Stroke Association has been working to listen and respond to the needs and views of Stroke Clubs and support groups across the UK. Through the Stroke Club Consultation Group we will be expanding this work by providing a formal way in which we can discuss and develop future ways partnership working.
The Stroke Club Consultation Group is made up of Stroke Club and support group representatives from around the UK who will meet to discuss areas of common interest such as issues and challenges facing groups and how to work together to improve local support. It will become the central voice of Stroke Clubs within The Stroke Association.
The consultation group is made up of 13 representatives (one from each of the English regions as well as Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland) who will represent the views of Stroke Clubs in their area. The group will be supported by the UK Stroke Club Coordinator and a representative of our Regional Information Officer team.
