Carers Emergency Response Service (CERS) Birmingham
This 24 hour emergency service for carers in Birmingham supports carers by providing a free back up service that ensures that the person they are caring for is given support in case of an emergency for up to 48 hours, and 72 hours on Bank Holidays. If necessary, longer term care can also be provided by the local duty teams.

Relaxation and stress management - weekend breaks for carers 2008
This new project aims to provide support for people who care for a relative or friend, adult or child, who has a disability, long term illness or mental health problem. It is being run by Birmingham Buddhist Centre in partnership with Birmingham City Council, but there is no religious content to the weekends.

Looking After Me - South Birmingham PCT
Do you look after someone? Is your health affected? Would you like to feel more in control? Looking After Me is a free self management course for carers.
