Going back to work

Returning to work will depend on the person’s level of recovery and the sort of job they do. Their GP or a specialist on the stroke team can help decide if the person is well enough to return to work, and they need to discuss all the options with their employer. Eventually it might be possible to return to work full time or part time, or maybe move to a different job with the same employer.
