Dysarthria and dyspraxia

Difficulty articulating speech is called dysarthria. Dyspraxia is difficulty with complex tasks.

The muscles to the face being affected by the stroke may make it difficult for some-one to form words as they normally would. This is called dysarthria.

Dyspraxia is difficulty performing complex tasks. Some-one with this may therefore find it very hard to speak or understand conversation as they normally would.
