Equipment to aid communication

Most computerised equipment to help with communication is still undergoing research.

Speech and language therapists and others have begun to develop electronic aids to assist aphasic people. However the contribution made by computers is till limited. The main reason for this is that most aphasic people do not have enough language to benefit from these aids.
