Home visits

The Occupational Therapist can visit your home before you leave hospital to see what equipment may be helpful.

The main reason for home visits by the Occupational Therapist is to ensure that people will be able to manage at home despite their disabilities. She can arrange for any adaptations to be made to the person's home before they return there. If she finds that it will be too hard for some-one to continue living in their home despite adaptations she can advise them accordingly.
