Following a stroke many people find that they need to make adaptations to their home or use specialist equipment to make daily tasks more manageable. There are a variety of aids and equipment available that may help to improve quality of life.

The local social services or occupational therapy department may provide some assistance with these. This resource sheet contains a list of organisations that can provide information and advice about aids and equipment and lists some product suppliers.
