Campaigns
The Stroke Association campaigns to make stroke prevention, treatment, care and research a priority for governments and health authorities.
Major campaigns include:
- Lost without Words - to highlight the needs of stroke survivors who have a communication disability.
- Stroke is a Medical Emergency - to raise awareness of signs of stroke and the importance of dialling 999 if you suspect that someone may be having a stroke.
- Stroke policy - to influence development of the stroke strategies across the UK and lobby for world-class quality in stroke services.
