Jon Barrick's blog from Hadrian's Wall
The Stroke Association is now a UK wide organisation. To mark this The Stroke Association's Chief Executive, Jon Barrick, and Chairman, Averil Mansfield will walk the length of Hadrian's Wall Path, whilst also raising funds for The Stroke Association.
This 84 mile trek will be a chance to learn more about Roman Britain, and covers both the urban landscapes of Newcastle upon Tyne and the rugged countryside of Northumberland. Jon and Averil will be joined by a variety of people who have been affected by stroke and professionals who work in the field of stroke for each day of the walk.
