Events
The Stroke Association organises a wide range of events that take place throughout the year, including the Life After Stroke Awards, the Royal Lecture on Stroke and fundraising events such as The Thames Bridges Bike Ride.
The Stroke Association is also regularly involved in a variety of external events, meetings and conferences on stroke and related subjects, co-ordinated by a number of organisations and institutions.

UK Stroke Club Annual Conference
The UK Stroke Club Conference is an opportunity for stroke club representatives to come together to share and celebrate the successes and challenges of running a stroke support group.
The 2010 event will welcome speakers on the latest research and the Finnish Stroke and Dsyphasia Association.

Specialist Section Neurological Practice Annual Conference 2010
This conference is a real opportunity for occupational therapists working in stroke services to hear about current and innovative practice. The programme will cover many issues which challenge us on a daily basis and will hear from speakers well known for their expertise in specific areas of practice. Final programme to be confirmed; topics will include vision, attention/executive functions, self management, vocational rehabilitation, apraxia and neglect.
