Stroke Research Network Annual Conference

The Stroke Research Network is holding its second Annual Conference at the Centre for Life in Newcastle on 25 and 26 June 2008.

This year the conference is a training event entitled 'Capacity, Consent and Stroke Research'. The conference aims to provide a practical overview of the Mental Capacity Act and Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act in relation to current and future stroke research. It will also look at evidence based practice in the provision of information about risk and benefit.
The Stroke Research Network Conference is aimed at SRN staff nationwide, organisations affiliated with the network and staff involved in trials adopted by the network.

The Stroke Association will be exhibiting at the conference.
