Carer support

Few carers receive any formal training or assistance with the often complex care needs of stroke survivors, while many are unprepared for the emotional toll that caring takes.

As they focus on looking after someone else, there is a danger that their own needs will be neglected.

The Stroke Association provides services to support carers practically and emotionally, so that they are better equipped to meet the needs of the person they care for.
