The functions of the Research Department include:

Managing the adjudication process of new award applications, and the administration of ongoing awards
Promoting research funded by The Stroke Association
Encouraging other research funding bodies to fund stroke research
Organising The UK Stroke Forum Conference
Managing The UK Forum for Stroke Training
Facilitating user involvement
