Research and Development Strategy 2007-2012

Following extensive evidence gathering and consultation, The Stroke Association has developed the Research and Development Strategy to go forward into 2012.

The strategy is based around the four objectives outlined below:

Objective 1

For the Stroke Association to fund high quality research providing the maximum benefit to patients and their carers

Objective 2

To increase the spend on stroke research in the UK

Objective 3

To increase public engagement and awareness of stroke research

Objective 4

For The Stroke Association to remain a key player within stroke research
