Objective 3: To increase public engagement and awareness of stroke research

The Stroke Association will work to achieve this objective by ensuring that the following processes are put in place.

• The Stroke Association will promote the benefits and importance of stroke research through its website and publications, and through external media opportunities. Researchers will also be supported to promote their own work to the public.
  
  
• The Stroke Association will facilitate the involvement of stroke survivors and carers in external projects, meetings and discussion groups relevant to stroke research.
