Community Care Research Project Grants
Research project grant applications are welcomed in this funding category for research which is focused on non-hospital based long-term care.
There are many unaddressed issues and difficulties faced by stroke patients and their carers in the longer term following stroke. Applications are welcomed for research investigating how the long-term care of stroke patients in the community can be improved.
Applications must be made for this category using the Project Grant Application Form. In addition, applicants must complete the Project Grant Lay Summary Form. It is also essential that the Guidance for Applicants is read prior to completion of the forms. Please note the Guidance and Conditions of Award have recently changed.
Applicants may wish to contact the Stroke Research Network prior to application submission, as detailed in the Guidance for Applicants.
Grants are limited to a maximum of £70,000 per annum for up to three years (up to a maximum of £210,000). The Stroke Association can only fund research conducted in the UK.
