Scientific Conference 2005

The Stroke Association held its 10th Scientific Conference on 21 - 22 September 2005 at Churchill College, Cambridge and it was a great success.

The conference was supported thanks to educational grants from Bristol-Myers Squibb/Sanofi~Aventis and Boehringer Ingelheim.

UK Stroke Research Network Launch Meeting

The Stroke Association also helped with the arrangements for this meeting, which immediately preceded the Scientific Conference on 21 September. The aims and structure of the UK Stroke Research Network were discussed, and details of the full commissioning process for Local Research Networks were described.
