Rotary Clubs

RIBI has been a supporter of the Stroke Association for a decade, predominantly through our ‘Know Your Blood Pressure’ campaign, previously known as Stroke Awareness day.
Following such successful long term collaboration on the campaign to raise awareness of the risks from high blood pressure, the Stroke Association is delighted to have been given the opportunity by John Minhinick to work with RIBI in 2012/13 to establish and develop strong and sustainable relationships within the RIBI community.
This is an opportunity for the Stroke Association to work together with your club to make a real difference to people affected by stroke in your local community. It’s an opportunity for you to support local Stroke Association projects, campaigns and services that help local stroke survivors, their families and carers recover from the effects of this devastating disease, and to raise the profile of the extraordinary work that your District and Club achieves.
"Clubs throughout RIBI have been long-term supporters of the Stroke Association, primarily through collaborating on the ‘Know Your Blood Pressure’ campaign, previously known as Stroke Awareness day, and many of you will have had a personal experience, or know somebody affected by stroke. I am encouraging districts and clubs to consider enhancing their cooperation with Stroke Association locally so we can do even more to support stroke survivors in communities in which we serve..."
