MedicAlert is a registered charity providing life-saving identification jewellery for people with hidden medical conditions.

Who needs MedicAlert? 

You should become a member of MedicAlert if:

  • You have any type of hidden medical condition
  • You have an allergy
  • You have had any implants
  • You take regular medication
  • You would like your blood group to be recorded
  • You have a living will or wish to be an organ donor
  • You simply want someone else to know if you have been in an emergency

How does MedicAlert work? 

As a MedicAlert member, you wear a bracelet or necklace engraved with a personal identification number, main medical condition(s) and an emergency telephone number. By phoning the emergency number the MedicAlert personnel will have immediate access to vital medical and personal information such as your name and address, doctor’s details, current drug therapy and next of kin. A translation service is available in over 100 languages.

How you can join?

The initial joining fee for a membership is £25, plus the cost of your choice of emblem.
