UK Stroke Assembly

Have you been affected by stroke and have got something to say? Then we’d love to see you at the UK Stroke Assembly. It’s an annual event that brings together stroke survivors, carers and family members.
At the Assembly, you have the opportunity to meet other people who have had similar experiences to yours. We’ll discuss topics that matter to you and you’ll have the chance to talk to and influence stroke charities. We share what life after stroke is all about, trying out new products and interesting ways to relax and exercise.
The event runs for two days but you can also attend for just one day if you like. Although we have to charge a small fee, we do our best to help you out with the costs of getting there and back if you need it. We know that money can be tight but don’t want this to stop anyone from missing out.

What happened last year...
The 2012 UK Stroke Assembly was on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 July at the NEC Birmingham Metropole hotel.
We focused on three things:
- Understanding benefits and health reform.
- Life after stroke and making a real difference.
- Feeling good and being happy.
The UK Stroke Assembly is hosted by the Stroke Association and organised in partnership with Speakability, the Stroke Research Network and the Stroke Club Consultation Group.
