The 6th Kuopio Stroke Symposium

The series of Kuopio Stroke Symposiums has traditionally focused on prevention, acute care and rehabilitation. The aim of the conference is to bring both basic scientists and clinicians together and provide a forum for changing new ideas for future research and for better treatment for stroke patients.

The UK Stroke Forum Conference is the largest multidisciplinary stroke event in the UK and sees the coming together of all those involved in the stroke care pathway. It is a three day event which provides a forum for stroke professionals to meet and share ideas, promote multidisciplinary research and provide a unified voice for more statutory sector funding for research.

The programme is aimed at all healthcare professionals – from nurses, physicians and researchers; to therapists, psychologists and physiotherapists.

Commissioning LIVE takes place on the eve of full authorisation for all clinical commissioning groups across the country. It is a crucial time to meet with others involved in healthcare commissioning to hear from those already leading the way with examples of best practice and great partnership working.
