Volunteer support and resources
The Stroke Association has developed a number of resources to help people understand some of the activities and workings of the organisation.
All Stroke Association volunteers are supported by a dedicated and committed team of volunteer co-ordinators and managers. They all have experience and skills to help you in your time volunteering with us.
As well as this there are a number of resources that have been produced for our volunteers.
Volunteering is evolving and we need to keep our volunteers informed about any developments that could affect the way in which we work, or they volunteer. A number of Information Sheets are being developed and these will be available shortly. The first set of these will be:
- CRB
- Insurance
- Driving
There is a Volunteer Handbook that is available to all volunteers and this enables you to get a good understanding of The Stroke Association and what volunteering for us entails.
