Stroke strikes every 5 minutes in the UK. It can happen to anyone, of any age, at any time.

Every second counts when you're having a stroke. Would you know how to do the FAST test?

  • Face: facial weakness
  • Arms: arm weakness
  • Speech: slurred speech
  • Time: to call 999 if you spot any one of these signs.

A stroke is a medical emergency. Always dial 999. The quicker the person arrives at a specialist stroke unit, the quicker they will receive appropriate treatment.

We want as many people as possible to know the FAST test and be able to recognise a stroke.

Learn it. Share it. You could save a life.
