never giveup

I’d like to tell about something that maybe helpful to anybody that has had a stroke and is left with post stroke spasticity. I found my wife’s old ’abflex’ lying around. Being in a wheelchair I put one end securely between my legs held my left hand tightly on the foam covered handle with my good right hand and started to exercise at the end my left hand was for the first time in 7 years holding on I’ll have to remember next time my left arm hasn’t worked for 7 years it felt good getting muscle ache I ‘ve also found out when I feel a spasm coming usually down my left side starting at my groin putting pressure on the back of my left hand stops the spasm. None of this was told to me by any“ologists” never stop trying I read that a stroke “brain injury” is a miscommunication and can be repaired
